 Studio 19

If you are looking for a more upscale place to sit and sip, Studio 19 offers an artistic twist on the usual coffee house.  Part art gallery, part coffee shop and part music studio, this unique venue creates an interesting environment to spend an evening or afternoon. Studio 19 is a great place to meet for a date because the gallery provides a lot of opportunity for discussion.

Besides the music themed coffee drinks you can order (we suggest the Cherry Garcia or White Stripes), Studio 19 also offers smoothies, non-coffee hot drinks, and a variety of light meals or snacks.

Studio 19 appeals to the artistic community in many ways.  In addition to the art hanging on every wall, and the live music offered weekly, the gallery also provides a basement area with studio equipment for recording artists.  They offer a drum room, guitar room, singing room, and a green room for the artists.  There is also a mixing board and a recording engineer that can mix your album for you.

For something different to do on a Saturday night, Studio 19 hosts a comedy open mic night.  Visit at 8:00pm to hear some fellow Lubbockites try out their material, or maybe sign up yourself and see if you have what it takes to make the crowd go wild.  Studio 19 offers a free dessert with purchase of a drink during open mic nights.

Studio 19 makes a great coffee, but if you are stuck at work and unable to get out, they will deliver to you!  They have a great online ordering system with a nominal delivery fee.
